newbie rambles and such [08 Jun 2006|04:15pm] spitting_demons Hola Yoshi Community =D Though I'm fairly new to the online yoshi fandom, I was an old fan from way back. I recently remembered how cute and awesome yoshi was after replaying Yoshi's Story. But I was wondering, does anyone know where I could possibly find yoshi livejournal icons? Theres no community for them and I don't know where to start looking, so any help will be thanked. Besides that, I hope I can become a dedicated member in the future. Upcoming Yoshi-related Website [16 Nov 2005|04:11am] hope_n_forever Hey all!! I don’t really know how many of you know much about me, but I can say that it could be done once in a while, that is if you get interested in such. Anyways, the real reason I had put up this entry, and since this place is big collection of Yoshi-fans where it seems I’m reaching quite the right audience, I wish to announce that I finally decided to open my very own Yoshi-based website to dedicate to my own Yoshi character - Lucisia! I dunno how many of you heard of my character, but I guess after I launch, her popularity will definitely grow, eh? It's the dA version of the yoshies club, and the current contest is fun. It was one of my suggestions - "Design a yoshi based off of a planet" - and I'll be drawing for the first place winner. It's running until sometime in the beginning of May, there's no definates yet. If you're interested in joining, please do! I cross posted this to my journal and posted something about it at the Aurorium, as well. I'm kinda sad that so far they've only had like... 3 or 4 people at most participate in their contests. ;x; So I'm promoting it and hoping some people will be interested <3 Thanks! U.S. release: 28th of March, 2005 Europe release: 24th of June, 2005 In other news, it seems that Yoshi's Universal Gravitation has been now renamed as Yoshi Topsy-Turvy (GameBoy Advance) for Western release. Plus, it seems that it was announced that Yoshi Topsy-Turvy is to be released for the U.S. in June, 2005 - and this date may even change!!
